Greetings and salutations! It is hard to believe that our annual FOARG neighborhood picnic and open forum meeting is right around the corner. This gives us (FOARG) the opportunity to give the neighborhood an update on the Board’s activities for the past year and a chance to meet with our new neighbors and old friends. The FOARG Board has been active in preserving the rural feel of our neighborhood by participating in ground level discussions with community planners and developers, by making sure that routine codes, parking regulations and graffiti abatement are enforced, and by maintaining general communications that keep our neighborhood beautiful and cohesive. Board members have also been active cutting grass and weeds along Pennsylvania Ave to allow more room for walkers and cyclists along this busy thoroughfare to the river. The issue of dumping trash on Southcliff Dr. near Fair Oaks Blvd. has been largely alleviated due to action by the FOARG Board. As a neighborhood resident, you have a voice with the FOARG Board. Please join us and your fellow neighbors for a snack and open forum discussion regarding our neighborhood at our Annual Picnic on October 4th, at 12:00 P.M.
